This Is Love !!

Honestly, you have no idea what writing these 'forehead kisses' articles does to me. I loose myself in the images and the blissful emotions that they portray. It confirms how grateful i am that i haven't given away these kiss to someone who doesn't mean everything to me. A kiss like this is something to be treasured, something to appreciate, something kept for the one who means the world to you and who you can't imagine living a single day without. This is love !!!

Winter Wedding Inspiration Shoot

Winter has certainly arrived in Queensland, and as the rain falls and warm, cozy blankets are pulled from their storage, so too comes a bundle of fabulous Winter Wedding inspiration. I absolutely love this shoot by some of Qld's very best wedding professionals.

The shoot was the brain child of Invitation Station and Styled Events and is featured in the latest Winter edition of Queensland Brides magazine.

There are so many beautiful features of this room at Old Government House. The rustic brick walls, French doors, wooden windows and tiled floors... it all reminds me of France. And it's the magnificent styling by Styled Events that brings out the very best of this venue.

I know i say it over and over, (and here i go again), your wedding invitation sets the scene for your big day, and these hardcover, hand-stitched invitations (by Invitation Station) are sure to impress your guests. The pretty little bird on the invitation will have your guests tweeting with excitement about your wedding, and it ties in perfectly with the black antique bird cage featured on the table setting.

The table styling is a perfect mix of rustic and elegance, with a stunning floral candelabra taking centre stage. Mini Italian style espresso cup bomboniere's sit on discrete glass charger plates and beautiful displays of white and green flowers fall from black wine glasses.

This wedding styling is unique and unexpected. There are plenty of elements that will delight your guests and set the scene for a romantic wedding reception.

The Wedding Collective 2012 - A Wedding Wonderland

There are certain events throughout the year that you always look forward too... think Spring Racing Carnival, Melbourne Cup, Christmas, Ramadan, your birthday (for some)... and now, you should add The Wedding Collective to that list.

The annual Brisbane event sees Queensland's best wedding artisans join forces to provide a one-stop shop for couples who want the glamorous vision for their dream wedding day to come alive. The night is filled with inspiration and displays that will have your head in a spin. The designs and themes created by the talented stylists will amaze you. I can guarantee that if you go there with a wedding theme in mind, by the time you sip your second Skinnygirl Cosmo and enjoy a tasty smoked salmon crostini, you will have totally re-planned your entire wedding... the themes on display are simply awe-inspiring.

This years event was held at Northshore Riverside Cafe at Hamilton (a smart choice by the prgals). The   venue truly shone and allowed the suppliers to create a myriad of scenes from a beach setting to a ultra-cool outdoor bar to a glimmering marquee and a glamorous indoor soiree. The Wedding Collective 2012 was a night that you didn't want to see end... and isn't that exactly the way you want your guests to feel at your wedding?

Millyjane Photography... Refreshingly Different

I go to a lot of wedding fairs, and whilst not all of them are well put together, i generally find that there is at least one supplier that will impress me. Recently i went to a fair that was not exactly warm and inviting or impressive at all, but two young girls made up for that. Milly Jane and Kirsty are the brains behind Millyjane Photography. A photography studio that is a little bit different, a little bit quirky and a big bit gorgeous !!

The two girls work as a team to create fun, relaxed and creative photos. Milly brings a romantic stylised element while Kirsty adds a touching emotive photojournalist style. Together they are visual storytellers for people in love.

This recent couples shoot stopped me in my tracks. It's a story in three parts, an open field, a stunning lake and a fairy light, fairytale ending. Who wouldn't love to have a photo like this sitting on their mantle piece?
